About Us
Black Elk Cutting Horse Association was formed solely to produce Premier Cutting Horse Events in Canada. Black Elk events are held at the Calnash Ag Event Centre in Ponoka Alberta. From the inception of Black Elk in May of 2012 to September of 2025 Black Elk Cutting Classic has paid out over $1,800,000 in prize money.
